Instantly check the status of a bike
You're about to check the status of a bike by using our safe and fast SafeTag scan feature. Whether you've found a suspicious bike, or simply want to contribute to the safety of our cycling community, follow these simple steps:
Enter SafeTag ID or Frame number
Use the search bar to enter the bike's unique SafeTag ID or frame number.
Check bike status
After entering, you get immediate access to the current status of the bike. You can see whether the bike is registered as “Stolen” or “Not Stolen”.
Stolen status action
If the bike is registered as stolen, the owner's contact information will appear. Contact the bike's owner and tell him/her you found his/her bike. Communicate respectfully. Consider working with the owner to return the bike safely, and always contact local authorities to coordinate your actions. Always follow local laws and avoid dangerous situations.
