In case of theft or loss, your registration with BIKEBAZE® provides additional proof that the bike is yours. This can help you recover your bike more quickly and can serve as proof to the police or insurance company.

1. Choose a package: Select the package you want - with or without SafeTags. Please note that certain packages are not available outside Rotterdam.

2. Registration: After successful payment, you will receive an email with a personal link. You can register your bike via this link. If your ordered package contains SafeTags, we will ship them to you.

2. SafeTag package receipt: This package consists of two types of SafeTags: a large one and a small one, designed to increase the visibility and security of your bike. Once you have received the SafeTag package, you must SafeTags to activate. Then you attach the SafeTags to your bike. The large SafeTag is placed in a highly visible location to reduce the risk of theft, while the small SafeTag is ideal for placing it on the battery of electric bicycles or any other prominent spot on standard bikes.

This process ensures that your bike is not only registered in our database, but is also optimally protected against theft thanks to the deterrent effect of the SafeTags.

A SafeTag order consists of two SafeTags - a large one and a small one. For electric bikes, we recommend sticking the small SafeTag to the battery against theft. The large SafeTag can be attached to a visible spot, such as the frame of your bike. For non-electric bikes, the small SafeTag can be placed in an eye-catching spot, such as at the bottom of the steering wheel.

If you already have a SafeTag but your bike isn't registered yet, you can opt for BikeVault 365 for annual registration, or Lifetime Lock-In if you don't want an annual fee and prefer lifetime protection. Both options ensure that your bike is included in our database and linked to your name. Register your bike here, choose one of the listed registrations and then activate your SafeTag.

If you live outside the Rotterdam City Region, you can still opt for BikeVault 365 for annual registration.
