What exactly is BIKEBAZE?

In the Netherlands, more than 2,000 bicycles are stolen every day. That's 2,000 victims a day—maybe you've been one of them before. BIKEBAZE was founded to change that. We have a mission: eradicate bicycle theft.

How? By providing an accessible platform where you can easily register, secure and even find your bike. For us, it's not just about technology, but also about collaboration and awareness.

How does it work?

1. Registering your bike:
   Your bike is officially registered to your name in our database. This is your proof of ownership and helps you find your bike if it is stolen.
2. Add a SafeTag:
   Our SafeTags are smart stickers that make your bike recognisable and deter thieves. And if someone scans your bike, you'll get a notification right away.
3. An anti-theft community:
   Together with other cyclists, we are working on a safer cycling life. By scanning bicycles, mapping hotspots, and sharing theft data, we make cycling safer for everyone.
